The Margaret River Chamber recently received a grant of $75,000 (ex GST) from Ausindustry for the following purpose:
"Extend and enhance the Chamber's current service capability to include the provision of advocacy, networking, information and recognition services and an annual programme of networking seminars designed to match the specific business requirements of small business in the Margaret River Region.."
Networking seminars to include following elements:
• strategic mentoring,
• business and marketing planning,
• e-learning assistance,
• financial products,
• leasing guidance and legal accounting services.

About Ray Stocker
Ray Stocker is well known to most people in the South West of Western Australia, not merely for the role he has played in the region’s development, but also as a reliable and credible source of property and development related information.
Ray’s career in property is extensive and spans over thirty years, operating as a qualified and Licensed Valuer, Real Estate Settlement Agent, respected Sales Agent and ultimately Director and Licensee to a high profile agency; a company he built up to some twenty staff.
Since he arrived in Margaret River in 1979, Ray has played a major role in shaping the region through his involvement in most major subdivisions and projects.
