Inside 60 Minutes
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship provides a Regional Outreach service to employers and stakeholders in Regional Western Australia. The Regional Outreach service has been established to provide accurate information and assistance about regional migration initiatives.
Changes have been made to the Migration Program recently to improve its responsiveness to the Australian Labour market through:
§ The promotion of Employer Sponsored Migration
§ Refining occupation lists for Independent Migration to target areas of acute skill shortage.
Employer sponsored residence is a key component of the Government’s move to deliver a “demand driven” skilled migration program.
The Regional Outreach Officer, Mr Daniel Bell will present a brief seminar, hosted by the Margaret River Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday 7 July at 5.30pm. During this seminar information about the following programs will be provided:
§ Employer Sponsorship for Temporary and Permanent Residence
§ Sponsorship Obligations
§ Pacific Islander Seasonal Worker Pilot
Following the seminar an opportunity will be provided for 20 minutes of questions.
This seminar is FREE to all MRCCI members and only $10
per person if you are a non member.
